BEND ALLOWANCE & DEDUCTION

Know what happens in the bend.

Calculate BA, BD and outside setback using a K-factor or your measured bend data.

SINGLE-BEND WORKBENCH

01 / Define your bend

Initial values are a worked example, not material presets.

Use a decimal point or comma; do not use thousands separators.

BEFORE YOU USE THE NUMBER

Use the basis you actually have.

K-factor mode calculates the bend allowance from BA = α(R + KT). If you have a measured allowance or deduction for the same conditions, enter it directly. The tool preserves that input and derives the related values.

BA is added to tangent-to-edge straight lengths. BD is subtracted from the sum of correctly defined outside mold-line dimensions. The two paths describe the same part.
